Velvet

So I completely remade Velvet from 2 years ago XD I seem to have a thing for remaking costumes.
Here's what it looked like 2 years ago:

------------Construction details----------------

The hood is made of 3 layers, 2 layers of lining that sandwiches buckram and wire to hold the crescent shape of the hood, and 1 layer of faux velvet on the outside. The buttcape is a semicircle and is also lined. I box-pleated the frills on the top myself because I wanted the colour to match to the stars. The sleeves are also box-pleated but I had to add interfacing to the inside layer so that it was retain the shape. Lace on the cap is handpainted because I couldn't find the right lace in black. Psyphers are made of air dry clay for the top and translucent file folders, I will be adding LEDs later when I rewear this again.
