Its been a while since my last upload! (and I also haven't checked DA in a while, its scary to come back to 5,000+ notifications, but I managed to look through everything haha)

This is my latest costume! Euphemia (artbook version) from Code Geass

--------Costume Construction---------

I started working on this dress during Christmas vacation and finished it a day before Katsucon. I'm wearing two hoopskirts to hold up my dress because the fabric is very heavy. The base skirt is a circle skirt and the 'feathers' cutouts are another layer surrounding it, I sealed each individual feather with fabric paint. The top was a challenge to pattern due to the having the 5 panels at the bottom, but making a mock-up was very helpful, the top is also full lined. The trim was more or less made with this method: [link] . All the designs were painted on and lined with 3D fabric paint. The wings were made of 5 layers each of packing foam (not shown in this picture).
Hair buns were made by myself and sewn onto the wig.
